General Policy

Physical Address: 24184 Hwy 385 South Hill City SD When making a reservation: It’s the Guests’ responsibility to provide their TOTAL equipment length in order to select a site that fits the RV, vehicle and tow vehicle. LCCR may not be able to accommodate if all equipment is not provided, resulting in an invalid, non-refundable reservation. Call with any questions at 605-219-9517. Camp quiet time from 10:00 am MT to 7:00 am MT. Campers cannot set up or break down during these hours. If you need to depart early, we have 2 sites in parking lot for late or early arrivals/departures. NO LIFEGUARD. PARENTS OF CHILDREN UNDER 16 MUST BE SUPERVISED WITH PARENT AT POOL AT ALL TIMES. ALL CAMPERS AGREE AND ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY FOR SWIMMING IN THE POOL AT THEIR OWN RISK. INSTRUCT YOUR CHILDREN NO DIVING ALLOWED AS POOL IS ONLY 4 FEET DEEP. NO SPOTLIGHTS OR BRIGHT CAMP LIGHTS AFTER 10 PM MT. SPEED LIMIT IN PARK IS 5 MPH. BASICALLY, PLEASE CRAWL THROUGH THE PARK AS YOU DO NOT WANT TO BURY YOUR FELLOW CAMPERS UNDER A CLOUD OF DUST. The lodge has stairs to the 2nd floor. No elevator. WIFI in the mountains: WIFI speeds are slow and is designed for basic services, not for streaming or videos. Please do not try or no one else can get access! Fires in fire pits only or in free portable fire pits. IT IS AGAINST THE LAW TO BRING IN WOOD FROM OTHER AREAS OUTSIDE THE BLACK HILLS DUE TO DANGER FROM THE PINE BEETLE WHICH COULD KILL OUR TREES. FINES ARE VERY HIGH AND YES, WE ARE REQUIRED TO REPORT YOU OR THE PROPERTY CAN BE FINED. Registered Guest Policy: Visitors who are not registered guests are not allowed on the premises from 10 PM to 8 AM. Visitors to the campsites and cabins must check in with the front desk to obtain a visitor car permit and pay a day use fee of $5 per person per Day. This includes offsite attendees for family reunions and group events held at the campground.| Extra Vehicle Policy RV site are for 2 adults age 13 an over and 2 vehicles, and that the travel trailer, 5th wheel, C Class, B Class and A Class Motorhome all count as a vehicle. Storage of additional vehicles is $10 a week from 1-7 days per trailer or tow vehicle. Anything with a license plate is a vehicle. We simply don't have room in our sites for additional vehicles. Our pull throughs have room only on the gravel for anything that fits including an RV a Trailer and a Truck or Car. (max of 2 plated vehicles per site) ATVs & other Off Road Vehicles: (1) All trailers must be parked in parking lot near office unless trailer and car can both fit on gravel are of site (75' or and pull through only) (2) All off road vehicles are to go straight to their site and are not allowed to travel through park. (3) All off road vehicles are prohibited from travelling or riding on the lawn anywhere in the park. (4) If you site is too small to host your car/truck and ATV, you must either park your car or off road vehicle in the overflow parking lot.

Written Cancellation Policy

Peak Season and Holiday: Memorial Day Weekend, June 26th - Sept 7th & Buffalo Round Up Cancellations requested 31 days before reservation will receive a full refund, minus a $60 service fee. Cancellations made 15-30 days before reservation date will receive 50% refund, minus $60 service fee. Cancellations requested less than 15 days before reservation are non-refundable. Shoulder Season: May 15th - 21st, May 27th - June 25th & Sept 9th - Sept 30th Cancellations for RV Sites and Cabins made before 6:00 pm MT, 8 days or more prior to arrival date will be charged a cancellation fee of $60 and a refund will be issued for the balance. Cancellations made after 6:00 pm MT,8 days of arrival date are non-refundable. Lodge Rooms Only: Cancellations Made Before 10:00 am, MT, 3 Days Or More Prior To Arrival Date Will Be Charged A Cancellation Fee Of $60.00 and a refund will be issued for the balance. Cancellations Made After 10:00 am, MT, Within 3 Days Of The Arrival Date Are Non-Refundable. No Refunds For Early Check Out. PLEASE PURCHASE TRIP INSURANCE!

Written Deposit Policy

Equivalent of 50% of the total cost of your reservation is due at the time of booking. Final payment is due 15 days prior to arrival and will automatically be charged your credit card.

Check In

2 p.m. MT. Early check in may be available--check with office. Must show ID upon check in and present Credit Card for incidental charges or damages. Guests MUST arrive no later than 9 PM. If arriving after 6 PM, please call the front desk prior to 6 PM to make arrangements. all late arriving guest should be made aware that there papers will be on the outside checking of the office. We will not accept any after 9 PM arrivals! Guests cannot proceed into the resort after hours without calling the number on the door for the evening person on call. It is posted nightly! PLEASE CALL (605) 219-9517 FOR INSTRUCTIONS. BEGINNING SEPT 15 ALL GUESTS MUST CHECK IN BY 5:00 P.M. Sturgis Rally: Same policies apply.

Check Out

Cabins – 9:45 a.m. Lodge – 9:45 a.m. Campground – 10:30 a.m. (After a 15 minute grace period for checkout, guests will be charged a 1/2 day rate until 12:00 noon)

Pets Policy

This is a pet-friendly property which welcomes in select pet-designated cabins and in the RV park. Owners are responsible for any damages. (1) All pets must be kept on leash. Our liability insurance prohibits pets off leash unless in a fenced dog walk (coming this Summer) (2) No aggressive species of dogs are allowed on the property. BREEDS SPECIFICALLY NOT ALLOWED: PIT BULLS [INCLUDING AMERICAN STAFFORD SHIRE TERRIER, AMERICAN PIT BULL TERRIER, STAFFORD SHIRE BULL TERRIER AND AMERICAN BULLY], CHIHUAHUAS, WOLF HYBRIDS, DACHSHUNDS, JACK RUSSELL TERRIERS, DOBERMAN PINSCHER, ROTTWEILERS, CHOW CHOWS, AND GERMAN SHEPHERDS. (3) No excessive barking dogs are allowed and dogs left in campers while you are away must not disturb neighboring campers. (4) All dog owners must pick up after their dogs. Campers failing to do so will be promptly asked to leave without a refund. (5) One pet per site is allowed. . .any additional pets are $5 per day with maximum of 2 Pets. Pets are not allowed in any of the campground buildings, motel rooms and select cabins. Crooked Creek Resort reserves the right to require guests to remove any pets that threaten or are deemed dangerous to other guests at the Resort, or are loud or barking.

Other Policy

STURGIS MOTORCYCLE RALLY DEPOSIT : This deposit policy is in effect only for the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally (July 31 to Aug 14 2022) Full, non refundable payment is due at the time of booking. Your reservation is confirmed at the time of booking. Please sign and return the attached contract from BLACK HILLS CENTRAL RESERVATIONS acknowledging our policies. Sturgis Bike Rally Cancellation Policy: Payment in full is due at the time of booking and is nonrefundable.
