Welcome to the Dakota Pines Hideaway located a few miles west of Custer. Custer is the home to the 1881 Courthouse Museum, offers unique shopping opportunities and a variety of dining choices. The Mickelson Trail can be accessed from the trailhead in Custer just minutes from the Dakota Pines Hideaway. The trail is 109 miles long and contains more than 100 converted railroad bridges and 4 rock tunnels. The trail surface is primarily crushed limestone and gravel. There is a 3.2 mile paved spur that connects to Stockade Lake. Our guests will enjoy the conveniences of home and the beauty of the Black Hills when staying at the Dakota Pines. The 3 queen bedrooms and 2 full baths along with 2 pull out sofas will accommodate up to 10 people. There is a separate living and family room, two dining tables with chairs, a back patio with gas grill and table, there is also a front deck with table and chairs. The equipped kitchen offers guests the opportunity prepare their own meals The home also has laundry facilities covered parking for one, WiFi, A/C.

Policies

General Policy
Guest will not have more than the number of adults and children listed to occupy this unit, and must be 25 years of age to rent units.  If these maximums are broken, Black Hills Retreats has the right to ask that you vacate the rental immediately. NO REFUNDS will be given. No tents or campers allowed on the property.
Written Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be received at least 60 days prior to the scheduled arrival date. The balance of reservation is due at this time. Reservations cancelled prior to this deadline will receive a refund minus a cancellation fee of $125.00. No refunds will be allowed after the cancellation deadline. All Service Fees are non refundable.
Written Deposit Policy
A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking and the remaining balance is due 60 days prior to arrival. There is a Cleaning Fee of $150 of which payment is due at the time of booking.
Check In
Check in time is 4:00 p.m. MT Check in instructions along with directions to the property will be provided one week prior to your arrival.
Check Out
Check out time is 10:00 a.m. MT Late check outs are assessed a $150 fee.  Check out instructions are located at the property. 
Pets Policy
There are NO PETS allowed in the cabin or on the premises. YOU WILL BE ASSESSED A FINE OF $750 FOR PROFESSIONAL CLEANING IF EVIDENCE OF A PET IS FOUND and you will be immediately asked to vacate the property and will forfeit the rental fee.
Other Policy
NO SMOKING IS ALLOWED INSIDE THE RENTAL. YOU WILL BE ASSESSED A FINE OF $750 FOR PROFESSIONAL CLEANING IF EVIDENCE OF SMOKING IS FOUND and you will be asked to immediately vacate the property and will forfeit the rental fee.   All cigarette butts shall be disposed of in the proper receptacles which are provided for your convenience outside the Rental.  Failure to abide may result in an additional FEE OF $250 BEING CHARGED FOR CLEANUP.
